The Space and Rocketry module educates students about the past, present, and future of space exploration. Students simulate and apply the technologies and scientific principles involved in space travel and exploration.

Shuttle Launch Countdown Status – Visit this site to access information about Shuttle Daily Status, Weather Reports, Kennedy Space Center and National Weather Service Radar Images and Reports, and Countdown Milestones. You can also access information about the Launch Control Center including the Firing Rooms where the Launch Team is located.


Space Information
Space Kids – this interactive site is filled with tons of information on space. You can play games, watch movies, tour the solar system, read interviews, and use the search function to find out all you want about space and rockets.


Space Station
This interactive site provides space station facts and features. You can view hundreds of photos, learn about the crew, and follow crew members during their mission.

Space.com – Visit this site for a summary of space news, photo galleries and much more concerning space travel and astronomy.
